I just told you Ford will sell less than 4000 copies of the new GT. And you're talking about food?

Well what if we're hungry?

Is the GT edible? No.

This concerns maybe one or two people on here, and they'd already be aware of that. The rest of us will never afford it no matter how many they make.

The more of them, the lower the price will get in the future. You can buy a Ferrari or a Rolls for the price of a new Camry, nowadays.

Hopefully they mean 4000 Ferrari F40 numbers, and just forget to stop production.

No, that's not how it works at all. It's not a Rolls Royce. It's also not a Ferrari. RRs and Ferraris get made all of the time. This is a genuine Ford GT, a supercar they make in limited quantities once in a while. It is scarce. Because of that, it will never be cheap to buy and - best case senario for buyers - it will never depreciate. 40k Ford GTs would still result in a permanent six figure price tag.

The OG new GT MSRP'd for ~$100k.

There are people on DuPont offering $500k if you will part for yours now. They probably think they can double their investment in a few years, and given that you can't get a V8 manual supercar brand new from Ford anymore, they're probably right. 4k examples and a decade wait between updates ensures the new GT will meet the same fate. Actually given the inevitable dealer markup factor, we'll probably see new GTs hitting the $300k-$400k mark right out of the gate.

I don't want to be debbie downer. But these are the facts. Life sucks.

I'm trying to win the lottery. Hopefully I will before all of these are claimed.
